Sean Cardovillis, a well-known Capital FM sports presenter, was cremated at a private family ceremony held at the Hindu Crematory in Kariakor.
The sports commentator passed away, on Saturday morning.
His family has announced that a memorial service will be place at the Consolata Shrine Catholic Church in Westlands, Nairobi, on Friday next week.
Sean was remembered as a towering figure in the world of sports journalism, an area in which he gave his all during his career as a journalist, by President William Ruto and Kenyans as a whole.
Sean is a legendary voice in the sports community, according to Capital FM Chairwoman Mary-Anne Musangi.
He will be remembered for his intense love of athletics, which he exhibited up until the very end.
