Police shot and killed the accused assailants, after three failed thefts in Nairobi.
According to the police, the suspects had two handguns found on them.
Nairobi police boss, Adamson Bungei, stated that they are still looking for more suspects.
The first incident, according to the police, occurred along Juja Road and resulted in the deaths of two suspects who were trying to flee from a pursuing police unit.
Police were called when the two allegedly attacked and attempted to steal a woman’s purse on Sunday morning, and they were briefly pursued by the police.
According to the police, they immediately opened fire, killing the two.
A knife, a handmade gun that could fire three rounds of 9mm ammo, and two spent cartridges were found at the scene.
The bodies were moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.
