2020 was a very bad year for many people across the world owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
From government officials to entertainers, many Kenyan admitted publicly that COVID-19 came with its own ”fair share” of tribulations.
Kenyan-based photographer and YouTuber Tatiana Karanja alias Mama Olive was not an exception as TUKO.co.ke earlier documented.
The YouTuber came out in 2020 and confirmed that she had gotten the much-feared coronavirus.
The mother of two was forced to spend time away from her daughters and family as she self-quarantined after testing positive for COVID-19.
Well, Mama Olive dealt with her healing and 2021 came through giving her quite a number of reasons to celebrate and be merry about.
Why? You may ask. Well, as the year 2021 started not many people were hoping they would have reasons to smile and celebrate.
However, the new year gave the cute YouTuber a number of reason to celebrate with a US actress recent gush on her daughter taking the top spot.

TUKO.co.ke has learnt Gabrielle Union recently took to her official Instagram account and gushed over Olive and her mum while celebrating the kid as her #WCW on her page.
Taking to her page, the actress could not help but disclose how much moved she was by Mama Olive’s smile and beauty.
”Today’s #WCW has a contagious smile that even has me grinning over here: Olive Chemeli Karanja-Mutiso @mamaolivek. This Kenyan beauty knows her worth and is filled with self-love and confidence. I love watching her and her mama go on adventures. We can all take note of her!” Gabrielle captioned Mama Olive’s daughter’s photo on her IG.
The actress’ post on her IG account attracted the attention of many Kenyan on social media who came out to laud Mama Olive and her daughter.
Gabrielle’s IG post came barely three days to Olive’s fourth birthday.
News about the adorable kid’s birthday was first shared online by her mum who shared a photo of herself in bed with her hubby and their two kids.
On the caption, the YouTuber wrote;
”Today is Olives birthday and I am so so happy she got to spend the week in a place she thought was magical! It was a fantastic birthday week for her and I am so grateful to the @vipingo.ridge team I can’t believe I have a four-year-old ” Mama Olive wrote.
It should be noted when the mum tested positive, she did all she could to keep her babies safe but they all tested positive for the virus.
Mama Olive shared the heartbreaking news on Wednesday, July 15, through her Instagram stories.
The YouTuber thanked God saying that the little angels were yet to show any symptoms but she was monitoring them closely.
In yet another post, Mama Olive revealed that her sister who was taking care of the kids while she was in quarantine was not spared as she also tested positive.
