Kenyan detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) are probing an incident where a man allegedly killed his wife and two children.
David Kariuki Nyaga reportedly locked his 28-year-old wife and children, aged 9 and 5, in their house in Kiamukuyu before executing them one after the other.
According to the DCI, Nyaga wiped out his entire family by hitting them on the forehead using a sledgehammer.
DCI sleuths arrived at the incident after receiving information from the village Assistant Chief Anthony Munyiri.
They recovered the murder weapon and arrested the suspected as they try to establish the motive for the killings.
