VIDEO: Trump vows to deport millions of illegal Immigrants if re-elected

Donald Trump has reiterated his commitment to deport millions of undocumented individuals and construct a border wall with Mexico, going against expectations of a more moderate approach.

In a speech on Wednesday night, the Republican presidential candidate maintained his hardline stance, which pleased his core supporters but disappointed his few remaining Latino allies who had hoped for a more moderate shift.

Following a brief visit to Mexico, Trump addressed a rally in Phoenix, Arizona, where he reaffirmed his plan for a “deportation force” to intercept illegal border crossers and pursue criminal “illegal aliens” already in the US.

“We are going to take our country back,” Trump declared, echoing a familiar refrain from his primary campaign.

Using a teleprompter for much of his speech, Trump also restated his pledge to make Mexico fund a 2,000-mile wall along the southern border. He described the wall as equipped with sensors, towers, and guards, asserting, “We will build a great wall along the southern border. And Mexico will pay for the wall, 100%. They don’t know it yet, but they’re going to pay for it.”
