On Thursday, a motorbike thief assaulted a man who appeared to be using his phone along Maalim Juma Road, grabbed it, and then sped off.
The bandit made a couple rounds pretending to be a boda boda rider hunting for clients before picking on him.
Soon after, he appeared to slow down and turn on the brakes before grabbing the phone and running away.
Other people trying to stop him failed as he sped off and vanished.
