After being recently implicated in the murder of interior designer Jeff Mwathi, who is said to have died after falling from his apartment’s 12th floor, DJ Fatxo, a Mugiithi artist, has reportedly turned to God.
On April 30, 2023, Pastor George of Capital of the Kingdom Mwiki offered him prayers, and the musician could be seen breaking down in tears in a video that he posted on his Facebook page.
Fatxo wept profusely as the man of God spoke blessing in his life.
He thanked God for surrounding him with people who always looked out for him.
“You gave me family and friends who bless me every day with kind words and actions.
They lifted me in ways that kept my eyes focused on you and made my spirit soar,” Fatxo wrote of Facebook.
Fatxo explained that God had protected him from a lot of things.
“You helped me make better choices and provided me with advisors to help me with life’s difficult decisions. You spoke to me in so many ways so that I always knew you were with me.”
A few days ago while celebrating his 27th birthday, the ‘Di Mang’a’ hitmaker said the last one month had been hell for him and his family, especially his mother.
He is a person of interest in the murder in which Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki ordered for investigations.
Police have since announced they completed investigations and forwarded the file to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for recommendations.
In a statement via Twitter DCI said that the new investigation was followed by new evidence provided by the state Pathologist and the state Chemist after a post-mortem examination of the body.
“The file is now complete and has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions this evening, for review and advice,” the DCI said.
