Willis Raburu’s baby mama explains why she kept pregnancy a secret

They had only informed their close relatives until the news was leaked by Edgar Obare after he leaked photos of Ivy’s baby shower.

Speaking on her YouTube channel, the mother of one shared,

“I always thought I would be people who post everything about their pregnancy from day one.

But after I found out I was pregnant I talked to my partner and we decided to share it only after the baby was born.

I only shared the news with close friends, but for the most part, it was something very personal. I decided not to post about it.”

Namu added,

“Being pregnant was one hell of a ride. He is a quarantine baby.

I got pregnant during my birthday last year, for my birthday this year (2021) I will be a mum and it’s something magical.

It’s something I used to pray about and I never expected it to happen especially like this.”

Speaking on struggles she faced during her 1st-trimester struggle, Ivy shared,

“I love chicken but I couldn’t stand its smell whether raw or cooked.

Nausea, morning sickness.

I had to stop cooking for a while because the smells affected me. Cooking was like P.E, I had to stop cooking until I was OK with it.

I craved lentils, mashed potatoes, and cabbage.

I only started cooking around 14-18weeks.”
