A man was detained after his girlfriend’s body was discovered in their Karuri, Kiambu County, home on Tuesday morning,
The man informed authorities that they had eaten supper together before going to bed on Monday after coming home with his mother and his girlfriend, age 36.
On Valentine’s Day, he claimed that when he awoke, he discovered his lover asleep on a sofa.
According to the police, the deceased had bruises on her back and lower limbs but without any major visible injuries.
The body was thereafter moved to Kihara Level Four Mospital mortuary for post-mortem examination.
