Kenyans can now fly directly to Mumbai in India after IndiGo Air announced the start of direct flights from Nairobi.
The flights are set to begin tomorrow Saturday August 5.
Vinay Malhotra IndiGo Air’s head of global sales said: “With India emerging as Kenya’s third-largest trading partner and witnessing increased investments, this new air route will further enhance our economic ties too,” he said.
Nairobi to Mumbai is 6 hours 15 minutes and IndiGo Air is charging approximately Kshs.44, 405 for a round trip.
The airline has been ranked as the 4th most punctual airline globally in 2018, 6th most punctual airline globally in 2019 and 3rd most punctual airline in 2021 by OAG Punctuality League.
IndiGo was founded in 2006 as a private company by Rahul Bhatia of InterGlobe Enterprises and Rakesh Gangwal.
