Youths in Kenya have been asked to engage in meaningful activities in life as the general elections near.
A highly sought-after financial consultant, Mr. Wilson M. Nguyo strongly believes that the youth can be empowered so that they can be financially stable.
“Our youths need to be empowered and supported in engaging with diverse economic activities such as bodaboda which can be a major transformation for them”
Mr. Mugwe Nguyo says if the youths are adequately engaged in various economic activities, the chances for them to be misused by politicians for a few coins are minimal.
Mr. Mugwe Nguyo has an unparalleled track record, especially in his immediate former assignment where he was spearheading youth empowerment by advancing bodaboda to them on credit.
Through the lucrative and pragmatic approach, most youths were able to own a bodaboda at just Ksh 300 per day thereby empowering them financially as well as bringing many of the youths into financial inclusion.
He also saw that even women break the glass ceiling and join income-generating activities such as bodaboda and also ensuring that they are licensed Boda Boda riders through a women empowerment program he helped set up.
