In the video, one can see Zia and her late sister dancing to Major Lazer song, Particula, which features an ensemble of African rappers, including Nasty C and Jidenna.

Her caption read,

“Still seems unreal but here’s a tribute to the best to have ever lived ♥️ God must love us SO much to have given us you as a sister & for that, I’m grateful.PS: This was her favourite song for the longest time. Till we meet again sissy.”

Janet, who was married to Brian Kipchumba Karonney had been ailing from a blood disorder called Aplastic Anaemia.

Months ago, her sister asked for help from Kenyans to facilitate her travel for treatment abroad.  Zia’s message read;

“The doctors have recommended a bone marrow transplant as the best treatment for this condition. Unfortunately, the procedure is not available in Kenya, and Janet will need to travel abroad for the treatment.

The cost of the treatment is approx Sh10million and will take 4-6 months before she can return back to Kenya. We are appealing for funds as her family and friends to help get her the treatment she urgently needs.

We know recent times have been really tough on all but any little you can donate will be greatly appreciated and will help towards getting her treatment and back home to her family.
